Neil Armstrong, the first human to walk on an alien world, has died today. He is a man who will be remembered as one of the greatest explorers in human history. He is a man who has inspired many young men and women to go into the final frontier.

The best way to remember him is to leave near the Earth orbit we are confined to now by our governments and go back into the stars. We need to return to the moon and go to Mars and beyond. We need to not only just walk on the them and plant a flag and a plaque on them, we need to stay and make them home. Our destiny as a human race is in the stars.

I will close this very brief post with the footage of that day in 1969 when Neil Armstrong walked down the ladder of that lander and into history.
